Environmental Public Health Tracking is the ongoing collection, integration, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of data from environmental hazard monitoring, and from human exposure and health effects surveillance. CDC provides funds to 26 state and local health departments to develop local tracking networks. These networks feed into the National Tracking Network which is a system of integrated health, exposure, and hazard information and data from a variety of national, state, and city sources. On the Tracking Network, you can view maps, tables, and charts with data about: chemicals and other substances found in the environment, chronic diseases and conditions and the area where you live.
