Lowest number of new COVID-19 deaths in UK since lockdown began
Health Secretary Matt Hancock announced that another 111 people have died in the UK after testing positive for coronavirus, the lowest number since the lockdown began.
The total number of COVID-19 deaths now stands at 39,045.
In the daily coronavirus briefing, he urged anyone with symptoms to order a test at nhs.uk/coronavirus or by calling 119 - and to self-isolate if asked to do so by NHS Test and Trace.
